personality; critical, anal, bossy and controlling, rose quartz is a very hard gem to get along with. she can be nice- if you get on her good side. it is incredibly difficult to earn her trust. she will fight anyone and everyone, typically, she wins, so its advised not to do anything to cross her. she won't hesitate to shatter a gem. before pink diamond was shattered however, she was very sweet and understanding, and wouldn't hurt a fly. the death of pink diamond really left her fucked up. around those she trusts, her old self comes out, but since she trusts hardly anyone... nobody really knows she has a "good" side.

facts; she is left-handed! shes super angsty about the gem war. she has considered trying to shatter herself in the days after pink diamonds death, she didnt want to be shattered by someone else, and didnt want to live as she felt like her kind were all destined to be traitors, and she'd rather die than forsake her diamond.

backstory; after pink diamond was shattered, and before all the rose quartzes would be bubbled, this rose quartz stole a ship and fled homeworld. she had three choices, be punished, shatter herself, or leave homeworld. she originally wanted to shatter herself, before she realized she was too scared to die, so leaving was her only choice. today she wanders space, alone, sometimes encountering other gems, but these instances are few and far between. she spends most of her time sulking and wondering if she made the right choice, or if she should give it up...
